WINTER QUILTS
Montréal, 2010

Three large scale electronic quilts, inspired by Canadian winters, playback sounds, light up at night and change colors throughout the day to reflect their environmental surroundings. They aim to bring playfulness, protection, colour, sound and light to the experience of urban winter.

Each quilt measures 14’ x 8’, and can be moved around in different places with a sledge. They are powered by solar energy.
